Usage:
Marbofloxacin can be used both orally and topically. It is particularly used for infections of the skin, respiratory system and mammary glands, as well as with urinary tract infections in dogs and cats. For dogs, a dose of approximately 2 mg/kg is used. The duration of treatment is usually at least five days, longer if there is a concurrent fungal or yeast infection.
Function and Application
1. Used to treat deep and superficial skin infections in dogs, urinary tract infections, cat skin and soft tissue infections, and acute upper respiratory tract infections.
2. Used for the infection of respiratory tracts, digestive tracts, urinary tracts and skin caused by susceptible bacteria in cattle, pigs, dogs and cats. It is also effective for cattle, sheep mastitis, and swine mastitis-myometitis-agalactia syndrome.
